Gender, sex-selection and safe abortion: creating common ground

Greetings from the Coalition for Maternal-Neonatal Health and Safe Abortion (CMNHSA)!

It gives us a great pleasure to inform you that the workshop which we had postponed in December, 2008 will now be conducted in Mumbai from 13th -16th April, 2009.

The workshop "GENDER, SEX-SELECTION AND SAFE ABORTION: CREATING COMMON GROUND", will cover a broader range of topic from rights to abortion, declining sex-ratios, sex selective abortion to the PC/PNDT act.

We are also happy to inform you that since we now have more funding available for the course, we  are able to offer it at a much lower fee of Rs.3000/-. These fees will cover lodging, boarding, resource materials, conference costs etc.  Travel costs will have to be borne by the participants.
