ICRW Research Synthesis on Exploring the Transformative Potential of Medical Abortion for Women in India

This research synthesis is based on a study undertaken by ICRW on ‘Guaranteeing Women’s Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights: Exploring the Transformative Potential of Medical Abortion for Women in India’. The findings from the study were disseminated in a meeting held in New Delhi in August 2009. The meeting was attended by a wide set of stakeholders.
Key suggestions and recommendations that emerged from the dissemination meeting have also been incorporated in developing this synthesis.
