The social context, laws, policies and practices related to abortion vary considerably across world regions, as does the availability of either or both medical abortion drugs; hence, information needs and advocacy strategies need to be contextualized.
Having consolidated its role as a global entity during the first five years of its existence, ICMA will now seek to develop a more intensive regional outreach focussing on dissemniation of information, knowledge and experiences of importance or the particular region. ICMA will be working with and through its members.
