Summer Networking Lunch Series

Join us at our office in Oakland to talk with Rocio L. Cordoba, J.D. (Executive Director, California Latinas for Reproductive Justice) about reproductive justice issues facing Latinas on Tuesday, July 29, from 12:30-1:30 pm.  LSRJ is located at 449 15th Street, Suite 304, Oakland, CA 94612.  The closest BART stop is 12th Street/Oakland City Center.

On Wednesday, July 30, Jessica Arons (Director of the Women’s Health and Rights Program at the Center for American Progress) will discuss her report More than a Choice: A Progressive Vision for Reproductive Health and Rights, as well as recent developments in assisted reproductive technology and the law.  This lunch will take place at CAP’s office at 1333 H Street NW, 11th Floor, Washington, D.C. 20005 from 12:30-1:30 pm.  The nearest Metro is the Blue/Orange Line to McPherson Square or Red Line to Metro Center.

Lunch will be provided in each location.  These events are free and open to LSRJ members, legal interns at local reproductive rights organizations, and law students interested in learning more about these issues.  Please RSVP by Monday, July 28th (12 pm PST) to Program Director Kim Irish at Kim@LSRJ.org to take part in these exciting events!
