Reproductive Justice Conference

The Irish Family Planning Association and the Women’s Studies Centre, UCD School of Social Justice would like to invite you to a conference on ‘Building the Reproductive Justice Movement’ to be held at 2pm in the Morrison Hotel, Dublin 1 on Friday October 16th.

The keynote speakers will be Loretta Ross, SisterSong, USA and Dr Ruth Fletcher, Keele University.

Dr Katherine O’Donnell from the Women’s Studies Centre, UCD School of Social Justice will chair a panel discussion with Susan McKay, Director of the National Women’s Council of Ireland; Rosaleen McDonagh, Traveller and disability rights activist; Senator Ivana Bacik and Aoife Dermody, feminist and member of Lash Back.

An additional Reproductive Justice on Film strand will kick off later in the Light House Cinema, Smithfield at 6.30pm and include Q and A with directors Angie Young ‘Coat Hanger Project’ and Sarah Diehl ‘Abortion Democracy’.
