International Students’ Conferences on Reproductive Health

This is the 20th Annual Scientific Conference.The event will be organised under the theme; Reproductive Health; Prioritizing Maternal, Adolescent and Newborn Health

Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MUCHS) has been organizing International Students’ Conferences over the past 10 years.  These have attracted both undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctors and researchers from Uganda and other parts of the world, especially in the Sub-Saharan Region, to convene and tackle important issues of health concern.  For example the International Students Conference on Trauma, 2009 (ISCOT-Imperial Royal Hotel), International Students Conference on Malaria In the Tropics, 2008 (ISCOM-Hotel Africana), International Students Conference on Infectious Diseases Among the Youth in Africa, 2007 (ISCID) and International Students Conference on Child Health, 2006 (ISCOCH).

Therefore this year we have the International Students Conference on Reproductive Health in Sub-Saharan Africa, 2010 (ISCORH), slated for November 18th -20th at Imperial Royale Hotel-Kampala, Uganda. The theme is “Reproductive Health: Prioritizing Maternal New born and Adolescent Health.”

We are expecting 300 local and 100 international participants who will include; medical, nursing, paramedical, public health and pharmacy undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctors, nurses, public health specialists, clinical officers, health policy makers, government and non-government organizations involved in reproductive Health, other researchers, religious leaders and the private sector.

Abstracts should be submitted before 30th September 2010
