First Latin American Legal Congress on Reproductive Rights
Arequipa, Peru
The First Latin American legal Congress on Reproductive Rights, organized by the distinguished Arequipa and Lima Bar Associations and hosted by the Board of Deans of the Bar Associations of Peru, will take place November 5-7, 2009 in Arequipa, Peru.
The objective of the congress is to provide legal tools and serve as an open forum for reflecting on progress made on reproductive rights in Latin America and the Caribbean within a human rights and comparative law framework. The congress is geared toward the legal community in general and towards judges, magistrates and academics in particular.
